How it works?

Blogtal.com collects members' lastest content via trackback interface from thier own blog. Trackback is a protocol initialy used in Movable Type. Everytime a member's site is updated, it will send a trackback to blogtal.com. At blogtal.com, all latest trackback pings will be shown live at the main page.

Each registered member can have multiple blog profile (currently support up to 10 blog profiles). Each blog profile represent a member's blog or member's blog's sub-categories and each blog profile has a category in blogtal.com. Each blog profile will have an unique trackback URL. That means, blogtal.com will categorize each received trackback according to thier originated blog profile.

How to use?

  1. Register as a member.
  2. Activate your account.
  3. Create a blog profile (your first profile is created upon registation).
  4. Sign in blogtal.com and retrieve the trackback link from you blog profile.
  5. Configure your blog to send trackback to the trackback link.
  6. It is done. You can now start trackback to blogtal.com.
